Veteran's Day Rehearsal

We will be having a 
Veteran's Day rehearsal
in the gym for 
all music students (1st-6th) 
Thursday afternoon 
at 3:30 and also 
Friday morning at 7:30.

The performance will be in the gym Friday at 10:00.

STEM Rec Challenges April 29- May 3 The sun is starting to come put more and the temps are rising. STEMRec spends quiet a bit of time outside. Please remind your children to put sunscreen on before and during school. Drama Open Scenes. Older grades will be doing short open scenes. These are scenes in which the dialogue is sparse and teaches actors to make specific choices in order to inform the dialogue. Dramatic skills include objective, tactic, reaction, story and character creation, and cooperation. Rain Forest Animals. Younger grades will get to explore the different levels of the rain forest/play structure by acting out different animals found in the rain forest. STEM Rec Challenges March 5-9, 2018 Science The World Around Us. For our final microscope week students will be making their own slides by scavenging for specimens from our STEMrec area and garden. STEMrec Challenges October 15- 17 Math Color by Equation Solve simple math problems and color the math page to create a picture. This guided lessons helps the students master this concept, focusing on shape, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Having a firm grasp of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is crucial for math fluency. Science Blood Students will learn the different roles of red, and white blood cells. Also we will be learning the importance of oxygen during exercise to help blood move faster we will be demonstrating this importance through an outdoor running activity.
